Setup Email and SMTP in FrontPage Extensions
These pages shows the property screens in setting up the SMTP elements of the FrontPage extensions and SMTP service in IIS5.1 on Windows XP Pro.
Note that this guide sets the SMTP service as a testing tool for FrontPage and other forms - not as a service for any other use, such as sending emails. As such, mail relaying to other domains has been blocked.
No instructions are provided for POP3 services. The emails sent through the service may be viewed by double-clicking the files found at C:\Inetpub\Mailroot\Drop (assuming standard set up for IIS)
