Shared Borders Example - Body width adjusted by CSS

This page uses left, right, top and bottom shared borders with the minimum of CSS to centre the page with a width of 760px. The method of construction is described at Centering Shared Borders using CSS and <body>.

In this example, a div in the left column has been given a width of 170px to ensure the navigation etc. is usable. Without this width setting, the CSS used for the navigation combined with the 1% column width assigned to the left border by FrontPage will make the navigation buttons very slim.

This is the right border.

The column width will automatically adjust to be the absolute minimum required to accommodate the contents of the border.
