This is a 512MB DDR memory stick (nothing to do with Sony Memory Sticks, which are completely different). It fits into a slot inside the computer. The following pages explain how to fit it. Other memory types (except SODIM) are fitted in a similar manner.
The hard part is getting the stick out of its plastic wrapper...
